Education OSP/TNSC

All citizens have the right to access music. All children have the right to access music. This a fact, not an opinion: music positively affects many aspects of human development.

The OSP believes this to be one of its deepest vocations: to reach the widest range of people and, in particular, the younger generations, serving them and giving them not only access to music but also the possibility of the choice of music.

The educations program of OSP and TNSC serves its community and its schools, through different musical activities.

1. OSP Educational concerts

(Music at Christmas Time / Family Concerts / Opera Workshops)

How to tell a story through music? How is a concert put together?

2. Music with the Schools

This activity aims for a continued relationship with students. It includes preparation and guidance for OSP´s symphonic concerts, attendance of the said concerts (which includes a post concert talk with conductor Joana Carneiro and other performers).
