Synopsis
On his Cello Concerto written in 1970, Lutoslawski explains that “the entrances of the cello and the orchestra have been composed so that any entrance suits any other. It is like two people shouting to each other and one shouting louder than the other. They want to tell each other something but they are talking at the same time.” The Symphony n.4 in E flat major, so-called ‘Romantic’ was composed by Bruckner in 1874 and it witnesses the profound spirituality and unconditional love for Nature by this Austrian composer.
